Star Trek: Picard season 3's breakout star, Todd Stashwick, shares a funny behind-the-scenes photo and video of him playing Captain Liam Shaw. Stashwick initially believed Star Trek fans would loathe Shaw, who was cold and rude to Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and Captain Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes). But a funny thing happened as Picard season 3 continued, and fans came around to Shaw, especially after Liam revealed his tragic backstory as a survivor of the Borg's Wolf 359 massacre of Starfleet in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
On Twitter/X, Todd Stashwick shared a pic of Captain Liam Shaw, phaser in hand, sitting in the USS Titan-A's center seat, as well as a video of Shaw on the bridge with Admiral Picard and Captain Riker. It's an apt reminder that, despite a few people taking command, Liam Shaw was the actual Captain of the Titan until his death in Star Trek: Picard season 3, episode 9. Last week, Todd Stashwick also shared Screen Rant's article about fans launching a Star Trek: Picard season 3 rewatch campaign in hopes of showing Paramount+ the rampant interest in Picard's proposed spinoff, Star Trek: Legacy, with Terry Matalas as showrunner. Check out that post below:
